The identification of hazards is often captured with techniques such as HAZOP, HAZIDs, JSAs and other techniques. The main objective of these studies is to identify the process hazards. To make a decision on whether the risks associated with the hazards are acceptable, we often need to subject them to a risk assessment. Our risk assessment ONLINE training course is aimed at developing proficiency in the key methods used in industry.
There are a number of risk assessment techniques that can be performed, but not all are suitable to each situation. There are techniques such as risk matrices, bowties and more quantitative techniques used by more complex situations.
The objectives of this Online Risk Assessment course are to develop the skills necessary to select and perform the appropriate risk assessment technique and ensure the process can be effectively integrated into a company’s process safety management processes.
This course is split in 2 sessions, run over 2 days which allows time for trainees to consolidate the material taught in session 1 and prepare their workshop before moving to session 2.
